THis is a HUMAN CALL to END VIOLENCE USING LOVE.

La Diosa Redefinida III - The Goddess Redefined III

The Goddess Redefined III will happen from November 6th to January 15th, 2026, in Coamo, Puerto Rico, at Museo Histórico de Coamo, Ramón Rivera Bermúdez. You will find images of the installation process and events related to the show here and on our Facebook page La Diosa Redefinida III. With guest artists Nelly Pérez and Madeline Pimentel.

La Diosa Redefinida III Art Show opening in Puerto Rico on November 6th, 2026 proposes a new social narrative against violence toward women by transforming how society recognizes and values their humanity. Rather than centering the exhibition on the atrocity of femicide and the punishment of perpetrators, it uses multidisciplinary art, public participation, and conversation to cultivate appreciation for women’s creativity, wisdom, resilience, compassion, intuition, leadership, love, and contributions to humanity.

This approach is neither naïve nor blind to the severity of violence. Quite the opposite. The exhibition proposes another point of entry into the problem: the preciousness and inherent value of women’s human existence. It asks what might change if society intentionally strengthened admiration, respect, and appreciation for women before violence occurs.

Can making women’s virtues and contributions more visible help inspire a mass social movement for their protection, grounded in recognition of value and collective responsibility? Can we learn to protect women not only because they are our daughters, mothers, grandmothers, partners, or friends, but simply because every woman’s life matters?

La Diosa Redefinida III positions art as a catalyst for social justice, inviting us to build a culture where every girl and woman, even if she is a stranger, is recognized, valued, respected, and protected.

OUR ULTIMATE GOAL?

LET’S CREATE A GLOBAL MOVEMENT

We intend to gather as many human beings as possible around one simple but powerful commitment: to protect the lives of girls, teenage girls, women, and grandmothers—whether we know them or not.

There is a widely expressed African proverb: “It takes a village to raise a child.” Its wisdom reminds us that the well-being and protection of a child are not the responsibility of one family alone, but of an entire community. What if it also takes a village to protect every girl, grandmother, teenage girl, and woman?
