I approach art as a multidisciplinary force, working with eclectic materials chosen for their visual, tactile, symbolic, and relational qualities. I have created and exhibited art in the United States since 2000 and internationally, including in Europe, since 2004. The following represent some of my most relevant exhibitions, commissions, and selected artistic projects.
Working across installation, photography, mural, painting, sculpture, performance, and participatory art, my practice investigates how color, language, sensory perception, and embodied human experience function as active forces that can influence emotional states, human behavior, decision-making, and collective culture.
My projects are not conceived solely as fixed objects. Many operate as living frameworks, activated through observation, participation, context, human interaction, and the environments in which they are experienced. I am interested in what happens not only when a viewer looks at a work of art, but when the work asks the viewer to feel, respond, question, contribute, or act.
My art is social intervention. Drawing from more than 25 years of professional experience in public health, behavioral systems, community engagement, and participatory methodologies, I translate social inquiry and lived experience into art forms that engage the body, senses, emotions, and collective experience simultaneously.
For my practice, art becomes a space for inquiry, one capable of shifting perception, opening dialogue, and creating new possibilities for how we relate to ourselves, to one another, and to the social environments we collectively shape.
